The Hague Academy for Local Governance
Established by VNG International, The Hague Academy for Local Governance provides practice-oriented, high quality training courses, master classes and study visits, on local governance and decentralisation in developing and transitional countries.
VNG Fund for Emergency Aid, Reconstruction and Peacebuilding
Early 2018, VNG established this fund, managed by a foundation, to enable the capacity building of local governments confronted with natural disasters or the challenges to bring back stability and development after conflict. Furthermore to support the UCLG Peace Prize.
The resources for the fund come a.o. from donations by Dutch municipalities, VNG International’s positive financial results and foreign municipalities.
